Description

Lead application security architecture and risk assessments for critical software systems. You will own the security posture of containerized environments, API ecosystems, and open-source dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct architecture reviews and Security Risk Assessments (SRA) to identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies.
• Secure container orchestration platforms like OpenShift, managing runtime environments with Podman and Docker.
• Implement and manage API security solutions, specifically integrating MuleSoft and Traceable.
• Deploy and maintain Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP) using Contrast Protect for real-time threat detection.
• Manage open-source security via NexusIQ to identify, track, and remediate component vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in application security with hands-on experience in security architecture and risk assessments.
• Proficiency in securing container environments (OpenShift, Docker, Podman).
• Experience with API management and security, particularly MuleSoft and Traceable.
• Strong understanding of SDLC integration and secure coding practices.
• Familiarity with industry standards including OWASP, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP.
• Experience providing security guidance and training to development teams.
