Description

Design and implement security architectures to protect enterprise information and ensure compliance across business units.

Responsibilities

• Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend technical enhancements.
• Determine security requirements by conducting vulnerability analyses, risk assessments, and studying platform architectures.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Application Development teams to secure new and existing systems.
• Ensure applications implement compensating controls to meet GLBA, PCI, and other regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement test scripts to verify security systems and create security intelligence assets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience specifically in IT security.
• Strong experience in Azure Cloud Security.
• Deep expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Application Security.
• Hands-on experience with Security as Code and Configuration as Code.
• Practical knowledge of security frameworks and controls including NIST, CIS, PCI, GLBA, and NYDFS.
• Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficiency with standard cybersecurity tools.
• Experience working with compliance and regulatory program requirements.
• Any Graduate degree or equivalent post-secondary education and experience.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications: CISSP, CISA, CEH, CSSLP, CHFI, CCSP, GCIH, GCIA, PMP, or ITIL V3.
