Description

You will secure application lifecycles through technical assessments and architectural consulting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct application security assessments and penetration testing.
• Implement and manage tools for automated code review, including static and dynamic application scanning.
• Consult on application security designs and provide guidance on vulnerability remediation.
• Develop training materials covering key security concepts for technical teams.
• Analyze complex security problems to develop and implement effective solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• 5+ years in a software development or architect role.
• 3+ years in Application Security Engineering.
• Strong background in Java and web development within RHEL and JBOSS environments.
• Experience using Fortify and SonarQube for security scanning.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics to colleagues and management.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for problem-solving.
• Ability to collaborate and teach security best practices to others.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISA, OSCP, OSCE, or OSWE.
