Description

You will own the implementation and maintenance of secure development practices across the application stack.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure development practices for applications.
• Integrate SAST and DAST tools directly into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
• Automate security tasks using Python, Java, or PowerShell.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application security engineering.
• Proficiency in secure coding for Python, Java, JavaScript, and C#.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, CloudBees, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with SAST and DAST tools like VeraCode or GitHub Advanced Security.
• Demonstrable knowledge of web and backend application security vulnerabilities.
• Experience automating security tasks.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GitHub Advanced Security.
