Description

You will manage application security, privacy advisory, and security architecture within a regulated environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop security architecture and define security strategies for the organization.
• Advise the business on information security and privacy matters.
• Coach and mentor staff on security best practices.
• Manage security activities within SOX or Bill 198 compliant environments.
• Research security topics and plan proactive mitigation strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in information security.
• CISSP certification (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Cyber Security.
• KCISSP certification is required. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Cyber Security.
• Knowledge of Canadian privacy laws.
• Experience working in Level 1 PCI DSS and SOC 2 compliant environments.
• Proficiency in Azure data-lakes, Windows SQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with UNIX, BSD, or Linux.

Preferred Skills

• CISLP, CISM, CISA, PMP, CIPP, TOGAF, or CEH certifications.
• Experience with Veracode, Tenable, or Azure.
• Cyber incident response experience.
