Description

You will secure application development by combining production-grade coding with offensive security testing.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure features using Go, Java, Python, or C#.
• Perform deep-dive penetration testing on web applications and APIs using Burp Suite and Metasploit.
• Identify vulnerabilities, prioritize risks, and define remediation paths with engineering teams.
• Integrate automated security scanning and gates into modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Review code and architecture for security weaknesses, recommending secure-by-design patterns.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in at least one of: Go, Java, Python, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with Burp Suite, Kali Linux, Nmap, Sqlmap, and Metasploit.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Practical experience integrating security testing into Git-based source control and automated pipelines.
• 5+ years of professional experience in application security or development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• OSWE, GPEN, GWAT, GXPN, CEH, or CSSLP certifications.
