Description

You will manage the end-to-end patching lifecycle for diverse application server environments across multiple technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute patching strategies for Java, .NET, Web, and Database servers.
• Automate patch packages using Windows SCCM and Ansible.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for patching activities.
• Execute patching activities following established schedules and change management processes.
• Monitor post-patching server performance and resolve functional issues promptly.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application server patching.
• Proficiency with Java Application Servers such as WebLogic.
• Experience using Oracle Support tools including OPatch.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET Servers and IIS.
• Patching experience for Web Servers like Nginx Unit.
• Management of Database Servers including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Automation expertise using Windows SCCM and Ansible.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.

Preferred Skills

• Red Hat Enterprise experience.
• Exposure to Azure Cloud.
