Description

You will configure and deploy Level 2 systems to support new machinery or upgrade legacy infrastructure. You own the full lifecycle from requirement gathering to production support.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from local plant teams to configure, test, and deploy Level 2 systems.
• Debug application code to identify issues and implement minor changes to ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot and repair scripts used for installation and data conversion.
• Modify SQL data conversion scripts to ensure data integrity.
• Provide production support and train application owners on system functionality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software configuration and deployment.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency with XML and JSON data structures.
• Understanding of Web APIs, Web Services, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with IBM MQ, Kafka, and Avro Schemas.
• Knowledge of relational database concepts and basic querying.
• Understanding of Windows operating systems, including basic hardware and networking.
• Foundational understanding of networking protocols including DHCP and DNS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Windows Server administration (Active Directory, IIS, PowerShell).
• Linux administration and VMware ESXi cluster experience.
