Description

You will provide technical and business support for application users, managing issues from initial query through to long-term remediation.

Responsibilities

• Field technical issues and queries from stakeholders, providing short-term resolutions and coordinating with technology partners for permanent fixes.
• Act as a liaison between users, traders, internal technology groups, and vendors to resolve technical problems.
• Participate in application releases, testing, and production deployment, including post-release checkouts and documentation updates.
• Execute disaster recovery testing to ensure system reliability and business continuity.
• Analyze applications to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues impacting business operations.
• Collaborate with development teams to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application support and technical troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience supporting applications using ECS cluster, Kafka, Solace, and API Microservices.
• Proven experience managing and supporting cloud-based applications.
• Strong background in problem management and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform business analysis to align support activities with business goals.
• Experience working with cloud platforms and microservices architectures.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of cloud database storage technologies such as ORRAS, MAAS, or MSAAS.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Tivoli, Nagios, ITRS, or Uptime.
• Understanding of financial markets and products.
• Experience with issue tracking, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
