Description

Manage incident lifecycle and ensure high availability for business-critical applications in a 24/7 production environment.

Responsibilities

• Own incident management and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and maintain system uptime.
• Monitor system integrity, hardware resources, and scheduled job completion via script-based notifications.
• Manage application deployment, code movements, and release management across Production, SIT, and UAT.
• Administer applications across Linux, Unix, Windows, and cloud-native systems including configuration and automation.
• Execute OS and database patching while performing regular application performance tuning and resource optimization.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years of L1/L2 production support experience in high-volume or critical environments, preferably BFSI.
• Strong proficiency in LINUX, UNIX, and Windows platforms.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS including Oracle, MySQL, and MSSQL, writing complex SQL queries with JOINs.
• Experience managing and configuring Kubernetes clusters (GKE, EKS, AKS).
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Helm charts, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Understanding of networking concepts including CIDR, load balancing, VPCs, and transit gateways.
• Experience with web application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Apache Tomcat, or IIS.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting experience in Shell, Python, or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and Microservices.
