Description

You will support and implement applications managed by the global Infrastructure and Operations team as part of the DevOps group.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to ensure availability, security, and performance.
• Plan, onboard, and operationalize new applications by gathering requirements and designing architectures with stakeholders.
• Configure and maintain application servers, databases, and third-party integrations.
• Execute application testing, including creating test plans, executing scenarios, and documenting defects.
• Perform routine maintenance such as backups, performance monitoring, and security updates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT application support and administration across frontend, web server, and database layers.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, and IAM.
• Proficiency with application servers such as WebLogic, Apache Tomcat, or Microsoft IIS.
• Experience managing databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of networking and security concepts.
• Experience with cloud technologies including AWS and Azure.
• Ability to manage and resolve support tickets within a 24x7 IT Infrastructure environment.
