Description

Monitor and resolve production application incidents, nightly batch processes, and system health issues.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve application incidents using system logs and DB2 queries.
• Troubleshoot issues within AS400 environments and COBOL applications.
• Analyse recurring incidents to improve system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure, and operations teams during incident resolution.
• Document incidents, root causes, and resolutions clearly for knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting applications in a production or operations environment.
• Working knowledge of AS400 (IBM i) systems.
• Experience working with COBOL-based applications.
• Ability to query and analyse data using DB2 SQL.
• Experience using monitoring tools to track application performance.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Any Graduate degree.
