Description

You will support Guidewire data products, including DataHub and CDA, by resolving incoming support cases and managing incidents within defined SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve support cases by identifying root causes and providing technical workarounds.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical problems.
• Communicate technical status updates and explanations to customers to manage expectations.
• Manage and resolve incidents within defined contractual service level agreements (SLAs).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application support or a related technical role.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of relational database theory, data mapping, modeling, and data analysis.
• Experience with database administration using PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Fluency in SQL scripting, including PL/pgSQL or PL/SQL and query optimization.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, Data Marts, star, and snowflake schemas.
• Experience with AWS cloud services, specifically AWS Workspace and S3.
• Proficiency with ETL tools such as SAP Business Objects, Informatica, or SSIS.
• Experience using Cognos for report design and maintenance.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of data streaming architectures.
