Description

Own end-to-end transaction flow monitoring and incident management for global trading platforms, minimizing trade impact through rapid resolution and automation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support end-to-end transaction flows, identifying and resolving alerts to prevent outages.
• Manage incident response, creating reports to maintain service level agreements.
• Support scheduled changes including application deployments, network implementations, and server maintenance.
• Oversee automated processes, scheduled jobs, and regular reports while managing user requests from track to closure.
• Identify inefficiencies in manual processes and collaborate with teams to drive automation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years supporting trade flows in a global trading environment.
• Proficient in Linux OS administration and command-line operations.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and at least one language such as Python or Perl.
• Detailed practical knowledge of the FIX protocol.
• Experience with SQL databases, specifically PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, multicast, tcpdump, and clocking protocols (PTP, NTP).
• Familiarity with the Atlassian stack (JIRA, Service Desk, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo), Elastic Stack, and Nagios.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with native exchange protocols and Kdb+.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
