Key Responsibilities


 

  • Monitor and support production applications and services.
  • Troubleshoot application, database, and server-related issues.
  • Handle incident management, problem management, and service requests.
  • Perform SQL queries, database validation, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Manage and support OS environments (Windows and AIX server).
  • Configure and troubleshoot IIS web server-related issues.
  • Coordinate with Application Owner, development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
  • Monitor application logs, server health, and scheduled jobs.
  • Support deployment activities, patching, and maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and incident reports.
  • Ensure SLA compliance and provide timely updates to stakeholders.

 

Required Skills

  • Good knowledge of SQL queries, joins, procedures, and database troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of AIX/Linux commands and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in IIS, application pools, website hosting, and log analysis.
  • Knowledge of ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Understanding of application monitoring and support processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and support production environments.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes
