Description

You provide technical support for intraday risk issues and trade flows within a fixed income environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for business users regarding intraday risk and trade flow issues.
• Troubleshoot complex end-to-end trade flows and market data updates.
• Own the onboarding support process for new business lines and workflows.
• Manage incidents, problems, and the monitoring/alert lifecycle.
• Develop in-house tools using Python to drive efficiency and stability improvements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application support, specifically providing direct support to front office trading desks.
• Proficiency with Unix and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Python for tool development.
• Experience using monitoring tools including Dynatrace, Splunk, and ITRS Geneos.
• Strong understanding of fixed income products and market data flows.
• Practical knowledge of ITIL frameworks.
• Experience with Grid Computing and Quartz.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate technical issues to business users.

Preferred Skills

• Background in knowledge management and defining technical monitoring processes.
