Description

You will support the Fidessa application for traders, sales, and middle office teams on the trading floor.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage software releases, configuration, and monitoring for all production system components and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain system scripts to automate manual operational tasks and build real-time monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot technical and functional issues within a complex, global financial environment.
• Ensure system availability, performance, and capacity through incident and problem management.
• Collaborate with global development and application support teams across multiple time zones.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Hands-on experience with Fidessa.
• Functional knowledge of the FIX protocol.
• Proficiency with UNIX/Linux environments, including Sysadmin tasks and Shell Scripting.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues using Python.
• Broad understanding of asset classes including equities, options, and synthetic swaps.
• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related concentration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps practices and continuous delivery technologies.
