Description

You will provide technical support and maintain application stability within a financial services environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Debug application issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve production incidents.
• Execute application deployments and manage release processes.
• Manage file transfers using SFTP, HTTPS, and AS2 protocols.
• Handle encryption tasks using PGP.
• Support operations during weekends or off-office hours on an as-needed basis.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in application support or similar roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, UNIX, and Linux operating systems.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Familiarity with ITIL Service Management frameworks.
• Experience working within the Securities or Financial Services industry.
• Knowledge of file transfer protocols including SFTP, HTTPS, and AS2.
• Understanding of PGP encryption.
• Bachelor's degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Ansible.
