Description

You will lead production support for mainframe applications, ensuring system stability and rapid incident resolution.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage incident and problem management processes using ITSM tools.
• Provide deep-dive support and troubleshooting for JCL, COBOL, and DB2 environments.
• Oversee production support activities to minimize downtime and ensure service level adherence.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve complex technical issues in mainframe systems.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in mainframe application support.
• Strong proficiency in JCL, COBOL, and DB2.
• Hands-on experience with production support lifecycles.
• Knowledge of UNIX and Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools for incident management.
• Analytical mindset for root cause analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading a support team or handling critical escalations.
