Description

You will support the PIC-SURE platform, managing its AWS cloud environment, API features, and user research assistance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AWS Software Engineers to develop SWB features using Node.js and Cloud Formation.
• Maintain and develop the PIC-SURE AWS Cloud Environment, including Landing Zones, IAM, and Okta.
• Develop new PIC-SURE features using Java and JavaScript, incorporating user feedback.
• Support researchers by creating cohorts and analyses via Slack, Service Desks, and video conferencing.
• Create Jupyter notebook examples and scientific use cases using R and Python client libraries.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in application support or software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and API management.
• Experience with AWS services, including Cloud Formation and IAM.
• Familiarity with Tomcat and Java/JavaScript development.
• Ability to create user journeys, UI designs, and technical documentation.
• Experience supporting researchers or scientific teams.
• Ability to present functionalities and create slide decks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with R and Rstudio for data analysis.
• Background in biomedical research or genomic data.
