Description

You will provide application engineering, tooling, and automation support for the Application and Data Engineering group, ensuring elevated production support focused on performance, reliability, and scalability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical requirements from application owners and business stakeholders into engineering solutions.
• Conduct proofs of concept, packaging, and deployment of middleware products.
• Participate in technical evaluations of vendors and their technologies.
• Manage and optimize Linux environments for production stability.
• Work within established security blueprints to ensure compliance and safety.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an application or middleware specialist.
• Strong scripting skills using Python and Shell.
• Experience managing and querying Sybase and DB2 databases.
• Proficiency with Linux environments.
• Experience configuring and managing Web Servers.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working within a global financial organization.
