Description

You will lead application and infrastructure support operations within a banking domain environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve incidents by collaborating with Business Operations, Development, Testing, and Partner systems teams.
• Manage problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, and major incident management to meet strict SLAs.
• Execute deployment of service releases, patches, requests, and customizations.
• Maintain high-quality solution and application support documentation.
• Distribute technical knowledge across the team while providing direct support for applications and infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Unix environments, specifically RHEL and AIX.
• 4 to 6 years of extensive experience in the Banking Domain and IT Infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in Shell scripting for software installation and configuration.
• Experience with VM operations using VMware.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects.
• Excellent written and spoken English for documenting technical and functional specifications.
• Understanding of change and release management processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Ansible, Docker, or Docker Swarm.
• Knowledge of MQ, DB2, or Cloud platforms.
• Scripting capabilities in Python and Bash Shell.
