You will architect and govern geospatial solutions for enterprise mapping and analytics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain geospatial data architectures, workflows, and metadata standards.
• Lead the design and governance of ArcGIS-based geospatial solutions for healthcare clients.
• Coordinate requirements gathering with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders.
• Oversee GIS dataset creation, ensuring accuracy for demographic, health, and program data.
• Mentor GIS analysts and developers on spatial analysis and web mapping best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in GIS, including 3+ years in a cloud architecture lead or architect role.
• Expert proficiency in Esri ArcGIS, including ArcGIS Pro Advanced database management and Network Analyst toolboxes.
• 5+ years experience with SQL Server Enterprise Geodatabases leveraging ArcGIS tools.
• 5+ years experience with Python and SQL, including writing functions and procedures.
• Demonstrated experience in geospatial governance, policy development, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong knowledge of data management principles and metadata standards.
• 2+ years experience in an agile/scrum development lifecycle environment.
• Familiarity with Medicaid, public health, or social services programs and datasets.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leveraging machine learning or LLMs for spatial data tasks.
• Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouses as an ArcGIS integration source/target.
