Description

Lead the architectural design, modernization, and implementation of .NET and Azure-based applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing asset inventories to determine remediation or modernization approaches and produce end-state solution mockups.
• Design and implement cloud-based applications leveraging Azure PaaS and IaaS offerings.
• Manage data model planning to transform legacy transactional environments into time-based models for multi-dimensional analysis.
• Provide architectural guidance, oversee code quality, and mentor peer developers and engineers.
• Drive continuous modernization by defining roadmaps and standardizing processes with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience as a software architect or lead developer.
• Expertise in Microsoft .NET, including C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET/MVC, WCF/Web API, and ASP.NET Web Forms.
• Advanced knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns.
• Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Knockout), REST, XML, JSON, HTML, and CSS.
• Extensive experience with Azure cloud architecting and deploying high-volume, distributed web applications.
• Deep understanding of Azure SQL Server, T-SQL, and Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
• Knowledge of Dimensional Modeling and star schema concepts.
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.

• Ability to perform complex systems analysis and translate requirements into technical business solutions.
