Description

Lead complex, agency-wide IT projects across planning, development, testing, and implementation phases. You will own the full project lifecycle from charter to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, implementation schedules, and charters for large-scale initiatives.
• Serve as Project Manager or Scrum Master to facilitate ceremonies and manage project artifacts.
• Manage project budgets, resource leveling, and cost estimates to ensure strategic alignment.
• Monitor progress using performance metrics and communicate status, milestones, and variances to senior leadership.
• Develop and implement project management policies, standards, and continuous improvement processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management or related roles.
• Proven experience in business analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage in-house software, SaaS, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) implementations.
• Experience with Scrum methodologies and facilitating agile ceremonies.
• Skill in negotiating service level agreements (SLAs) and project resource requirements.
• Competency in budget tracking and financial reporting for IT initiatives.
• Experience providing technical direction and mentoring to project teams.
• Ability to define and maintain project management standards and methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate-level education.
