Description

You will build and maintain data solutions for sustainability reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop data solutions based on product backlog priorities.
• Collaborate with product owners, technology leads, and analysts to define capability requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional technology solutions.
• Support data analytics and reporting workflows.
• Enforce code quality using established linting and testing standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with an emphasis on analytics and reporting.
• Expert-level Python skills, including authoring distributable packages and automating unit tests with tox or pytest.
• Proficiency in code-quality enforcement using mypy, flake8, and black.
• Expert-level SQL abilities.
• Experience developing with Spark, preferably via AWS EMR.
• Experience with AWS data engineering services, resources, and architecture.
• Experience with GitHub and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies including Scrum, SAFe, or Extreme Programming.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQLAlchemy, Apache Kafka, or developing API clients.
• Experience developing solutions in Snowflake or using workload automation tools like Airflow or Autosys.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Metabase.
