Description

You will conduct chemical experiments and analyze the properties of organic and inorganic compounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare compounds, solutions, and reagents to conduct controlled tests and experiments.
• Determine chemical and physical properties, structures, and reactions using chromatography, spectrophotometry, and spectroscopy.
• Develop and customize formulas, analytical methods, products, and laboratory equipment.
• Consult with engineers and scientists to interpret data and develop new testing procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to ensure operational accuracy and prevent contamination.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a laboratory or chemical research environment.
• Hands-on experience with chromatography techniques.
• Proficiency in spectrophotometry and spectroscopy.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex chemical data.
• Experience in chemical development and process improvement.
• Ability to prepare technical specifications and testing standards.
• Knowledge of quality control testing and contamination prevention.
• Degree in any scientific graduate field.
