Description

You will architect and modernize applications onto Azure PaaS platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design Azure Landing Zones and target-state solution architecture.
• Migrate and host applications using Azure PaaS services including App Service, Functions, AKS, and ACI.
• Analyze application dependencies, integrations, and infrastructure landscapes.
• Assess application performance pre- and post-migration.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Data Platform, DevOps, and Integration teams on cloud adoption.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of development and application modernization experience.
• Expertise in application hosting and configuration on Azure PaaS.
• Strong understanding of application migration scenarios and pathways.
• Experience containerizing web applications (frontend + services).
• Strong understanding of hosting containerized applications on Kubernetes/AKS.
• Hands-on web application development experience.
• Familiarity with IIS hosting and configuration.
• Basic database skills including connectivity and configuration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Enterprise Architects, Data Platform, DevOps, and Kubernetes teams.
