Description

Administer and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise environments, including ArcGIS Server and Portal, to ensure high availability and performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain ArcGIS Server and Web Adaptor, optimizing GIS services and applications.
• Develop Python and ArcPy automation scripts to streamline administrative and data management tasks.
• Monitor system health, security, and performance, implementing improvements for scalability and stability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to design and support enterprise-level geospatial solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience administering ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro for publishing and managing GIS services.
• Strong scripting experience with Python and ArcPy.
• Experience monitoring and maintaining enterprise GIS infrastructure in production.
• Understanding of system performance tuning, security practices, and scalability planning.
• Ability to work independently in a contract capacity.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) supporting GIS systems.
• Familiarity with web GIS technologies, APIs, and integrations.
