Description

Build interactive web mapping applications and manage GIS server infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop interactive web mapping applications and custom map widgets using the ArcGIS JavaScript SDK.
• Manage and configure GIS servers, including Portal, ArcGIS Server, GeoEvent Server, and Data Store.
• Create automated geoprocessing scripts and optimize spatial database queries for data analysis.
• Configure real-time location tracking and monitor system performance using GeoEvent Server.
• Automate GIS system management tasks, including user setup, content audits, and environment cloning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on GIS.
• Deep understanding of Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, GeoEvent Server, and Data Store.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and building backend services.
• Experience with the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript (4.x series) for 3D visualizations and custom widgets.
• Advanced scripting skills for geoprocessing and spatial joins.
• Proficiency in writing complex spatial queries and designing spatial databases.
• Experience connecting GIS systems with business applications via APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using ArcGIS API for Python for "DevOps for GIS" automation.
• Familiarity with modern web frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
