Description

You will design, develop, and deploy interactive GIS web applications using Esri technologies.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy web mapping solutions using ArcGIS API for JavaScript, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Online.
• Develop and customize widgets and tools specifically for GIS applications.
• Integrate GIS applications with spatial databases like PostGIS and SQL Server, as well as external APIs.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain security best practices for web-based GIS applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in GIS development.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Esri Web AppBuilder, and ArcGIS Online.
• Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Python (ArcPy, Flask, Django) or Node.js for backend GIS development.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, GeoJSON, and GIS web services.
• Experience with spatial databases including PostGIS, SQL Server, or Oracle Spatial.
• Experience with Esri Experience Builder and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and Agile development using Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
