Description

You will lead the migration of ETL workloads from Ab Initio to AWS Cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute migration strategies to move ETL jobs to AWS.
• Interpret complex Ab Initio graphs and jobs to extract underlying business logic.
• Create high-level technical diagrams documenting source tables, filters, joins, and target schemas.
• Validate Spark-generated output against existing Ab Initio data outputs.
• Act as the technical point of contact between clients and the offshore engineering team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with Ab Initio.
• Ability to translate complex business logic and data flows into technical designs.
• Experience with SDLC concepts and processes.
• Strong understanding of source-to-target data mapping and edge case analysis.
• Ability to guide Data Engineering teams through complex migrations.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Python, PySpark, AWS Glue, Lambda, and Redshift.
• Experience with automation and CI/CD tools.
