Description

You will design, develop, and implement data models and data lake architecture to support scalable applications and systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain logical and physical data models, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories.
• Translate business requirements and use cases into optimized data flows and database solutions.
• Collaborate with EDW teams, business analysts, and DBAs to ensure project delivery and quality objectives.
• Perform data profiling and analysis to validate the accuracy and completeness of proposed models.
• Conduct research on potential solutions and provide technical recommendations to stakeholders.
• Manage assignments and track progress against established timelines and project standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data analysis, modeling, and database design.
• Advanced expertise in data profiling, information domain models, and integrity rules.
• Proficiency with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with ELT processes, scripting, and complex queries.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, entity relationships, data warehousing, facts, dimensions, and star schemas.
• Experience with logical and physical modeling using ErWin or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Synapse, and Python.
• Experience working within Azure DevOps and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage metadata and technical documentation.
