Description

Lead technical direction and architecture design for complex cloud infrastructure projects, owning the delivery of secure, scalable systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and document detailed cloud architectures, providing direct walkthroughs to clients.
• Lead project deliveries, manage work-streams, and prepare comprehensive project plans.
• Setup cloud foundations, implement DevSecOps pipelines, and ensure operational visibility.
• Guide team members through technical problem-solving and code reviews.
• Collaborate with business and Go-To-Market teams to mitigate risks and support pre-sales.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience in infrastructure and cloud architecture.
• Deep understanding of cloud providers: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Proven implementation of DevSecOps pipelines, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and service mesh (Envoy, Tanzu).
• Expertise in networking: load balancing (HTTPS, TCP, SSL), VPNs (BGP, IPSec), and private connections.
• Strong security knowledge: IAM, secrets management, CMEK, and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, NIST).
• Experience with IaC (Terraform) and scripting (BASH, Shell, Powershell).
• Proficiency in database modeling (SQL, NoSQL, Redis) and data warehousing.
• Hands-on experience with application and data migration (on-prem to cloud, cloud-to-cloud).
• Strong Linux system experience and troubleshooting capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Multi-cloud experience.
• Certifications such as CKAD, CKS, GCP Associate, AWS, Azure, or Terraform.
