Description

You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of custom SAP ABAP solutions and technical architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
• Resolve production defects and investigate root causes for recurring issues in an AMS environment.
• Develop and maintain RFC, BAPI, IDoc, and Proxy-based interfaces between SAP and external systems.
• Optimize existing code and database queries to resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with functional consultants across MM, SD, FI, CO, and PP modules to deliver technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and support.
• Deep expertise in RICEF objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.
• Proficiency with Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Script.
• Extensive experience in SAP AMS (Application Managed Services) projects.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with user exits, BADIs, and enhancement frameworks.
• Knowledge of ALV reports, Dialog programs, and Module Pool programming.
• Familiarity with change management and transport request processes.
• Ability to work in shift-based support environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and BRF+.
• Knowledge of OOPs ABAP, CDS views, ODATA, and Fiori.
