Description

Support the EHRM-IO program by coordinating cross-disciplinary efforts to ensure platform integration, compatibility, and usability for EHR modernization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Recommend processes for developing value metrics and liaise between stakeholder groups to communicate business needs and technical requirements.
• Conduct value assessments and analyze programs for efficiency and compliance with Federal and VA policies.
• Evaluate software applications and provide Clinical Informatics expertise to translate requirements for technical implementation.
• Perform scientific research, writing, and editing of project products to established government standards for both technical and lay audiences.
• Present project work in meetings and workshops and develop new approaches and solutions.

Required Skills

• PhD in Healthcare, Science, Computer Engineering, or a related scientific, technical, or clinical discipline (or 12 years of relevant work experience substituting for the PhD).
• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of appropriate data sources for monitoring, characterization, analysis, and modeling.
• Experience in scientific research and technical writing/editing.
• Ability to translate clinical informatics requirements into technical implementations.
• Experience working under supervision and participating in collaborative technical discussions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the VA and/or DOD.
• Experience implementing Electronic Health Records.
