Description

Design and develop firmware for ARM Cortex-A and Cortex-R processors. Own the full lifecycle from board bring-up to complex application components.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement firmware for Cortex-A and Cortex-R based application processors.
• Implement security features using TrustZone technology.
• Manage board bring-up, bootloader architecture, and bare metal systems.
• Develop complex multi-threaded application firmware components using RTOS concepts.
• Debug embedded firmware using JTAG, SWD debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience developing firmware on ARM processors.
• Expert-level C programming skills.
• Proficiency with low-level communication protocols: UART, I2C, and SPI.
• Experience with GitHub and source control systems.
• Scripting capability using Python, batch files, and command shells.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital electronic concepts and hardware schematics.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and data sheets to build firmware solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
