Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize computer vision models for object detection, image classification, and image quality assessment.
• Build and maintain OCR pipelines using third-party and custom machine learning engines.
• Develop production-ready Python applications using object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
• Integrate machine learning components into distributed, message-driven architectures.
• Develop training, evaluation, and feedback pipelines for OCR and image classification models.
• Optimize model performance for low latency, high throughput, and near-real-time processing.
• Collaborate with architects, database teams, API developers, and DevOps teams on integration, deployment, and testing.
• Participate in system design discussions to improve scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, test plans, test scripts, and impact analysis reports.
• Troubleshoot issues, improve code quality, and follow established development and security standards.
• Work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with Python development.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, clean code, and testable architectures.
• Hands-on experience with image processing and computer vision frameworks such as OpenCV and Pillow.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Practical experience developing OCR solutions using Tesseract, PaddleOCR, EasyOCR, or custom models.
• Familiarity with object detection models such as YOLO, Faster R-CNN, or SSD.
• Knowledge of image classification, feature extraction, and model evaluation metrics.
• Experience building and deploying production-ready machine learning applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Azure DevOps testing tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating machine learning models into distributed enterprise systems.
• Experience optimizing computer vision models for real-time processing.
• Ability to translate machine learning research into scalable production solutions.
• Experience with SAP or other enterprise business applications.
• Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM practices and methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent education and experience may be considered
