Description

You will build and maintain software systems for research prototypes running across edge devices and cloud compute.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop software systems for research prototypes using cascaded edge-device plus cloud compute architecture.
• Build interactive experiences across smartglasses, cloud, and mobile devices alongside designers and prototypers.
• Integrate machine learning models into the prototype system alongside ML engineers and researchers.
• Maintain and update the prototype system to accommodate evolving interactive experiences and ML model progress.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong programming ability in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with Android development on edge devices such as smart glasses and phones.
• Expert problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in Python, C, C++, and Android Development.
• Demonstrated creativity, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Proven problem-solving ability in complex distributed systems.
