Description

You will manage and optimize enterprise-scale data networks and lead network integration projects.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the escalation point for resolving complex network integration issues.
• Lead technical and non-technical discussions while acting as a liaison between IT verticals, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Manage switch upgrades, hardware refreshes, and vendor relationships in a partially outsourced environment.
• Consult with peers and management on application deployment and network standards.
• Develop business cases and ROI justifications for hardware and software investments.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of enterprise data network or IT industry experience.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco routers, Cisco L2/L3 switches, load balancing, QoS, VPN, NAT, and VoIP.
• Deep understanding of IPSec, Multicast, DNS services, MPLS networks, and Ethernet.
• Proficiency with TCP/IP, SNMP, VLAN Trunking, BGP, and OSPF.
• Strong knowledge of Spanning-tree protocols including PVST, MSTP, and RSTP.
• Experience with firewall troubleshooting and vulnerability management.
• Hands-on experience with network tools such as CA Spectrum and Wireshark.
• Ability to lead projects and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Velocloud/Viptela SD-WAN, Aruba, Meraki, Nexus, Palo Alto Firewalls, or Zscaler.
• CCNP or CCIE certifications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud networking or software development for automation.
