What's the Job?

• Manage and maintain IBM i (AS400) systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop and implement AS400 programming solutions using RPG, CL, and SQL.
• Perform system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate system backups, recovery processes, and security protocols to safeguard data integrity.
• Collaborate with teams to modernize legacy applications and integrate with other platforms such as APIs and web services.

What's Needed?

• Extensive experience with IBM i (AS400) systems administration and support.
• Proficiency in AS400 programming languages including RPG, CL, and SQL.
• Solid understanding of IBM System architecture and infrastructure components.
• Experience with system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and job scheduling.
• Knowledge of backup/recovery tools, security, and compliance best practices for IBM i environments
