Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced AS400 COBOL Developer to support and enhance legacy systems. The candidate should have strong experience in IBM i (AS400) environment and COBOL programming.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and support COBOL programs on AS400 (IBM i)
Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions
Perform code enhancements, debugging, and issue resolution
Work with DB2/400 database for data processing
Participate in testing and production support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Required Skills:
Strong experience in AS400 (IBM i)
Proficiency in COBOL programming
Experience with CL, RPG (good to have)
Knowledge of DB2/400
Experience in production support and troubleshooting
Good communication skills
Good to Have:
Experience in batch processing and job scheduling
Exposure to modernization or migration projects
