Description

You will develop, maintain, and support business-critical AS/400 COBOL and RPG-based applications, strengthening the team's legacy technical capabilities.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AS/400 COBOL and RPG applications on the IBM iSeries platform.
• Design, create, and maintain data models using DB2 databases.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve complex batch processing and interactive application issues.
• Troubleshoot and tune advanced SQL performance problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legacy applications with modern distributed systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with AS/400 development.
• Deep proficiency in COBOL and RPG/RPGLE.
• Extensive experience with DB2 and SQL performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with IBM iSeries environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes specific to IBM i.
• Knowledge of Agile principles with experience in Scrum or Kanban.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating legacy systems with modern distributed architectures.
• Proficiency with standard MS Office tools.
