Description

Develop and maintain business-critical AS/400 applications using COBOL and RPG on the IBM iSeries platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support AS/400 COBOL and RPG-based applications.
• Manage DB2 databases, including data modeling and advanced SQL performance tuning.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve complex batch processing and interactive application issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legacy systems with modern distributed environments.
• Implement continuous integration and deployment processes specific to the IBM i environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with AS/400 COBOL and RPG/RPGLE.
• Deep understanding of IBM iSeries platform and DB2 databases.
• Proficiency in SQL, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD processes in IBM i environments.
• Knowledge of Agile principles (Scrum or Kanban).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in standard MS Office tools.
