Description

Lead AS/400 development and coordinate onsite-offshore delivery for a global team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and updates of design and functional documentation.
• Perform code reviews and suggest technical improvements or alternative approaches.
• Coordinate with project and account managers to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Manage communications with clients regarding project progress, challenges, and timelines.
• Provide on-call support as required.

Required Skills

• 5 to 10 years of experience as an AS/400 technical team lead.
• Advanced hands-on exposure to the IBM-i platform.
• Advanced proficiency in Report Program Generator (RPG-LE, RPG-SQL, RPG-FREE).
• Proficiency in DB2 and IBM-i SQL for complex stored procedures and data extraction.
• Experience managing data transfers between Excel and IBM-i.
• Knowledge of XML and JSON.
• 3 to 4 years of experience working within a global delivery model (onsite-offshore).

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication skills for client and team coordination.
