Description

You will design, develop, and support applications within an IBM iSeries environment, owning the full technical lifecycle from analysis to production.

Responsibilities

• Implement technical solutions through analysis, design, development, QA, and production.
• Adhere to SDLC standards to ensure high code quality and performance.
• Develop applications with adequate error handling and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to meet technical standards and requirements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with RPG/RPGLE in an IBM iSeries environment.
• Advanced knowledge of RPG and CL.
• Working knowledge of SQL and embedded SQL in RPG.
• Experience with Aldon Life Cycle Manager or similar change management software.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and logical technical documentation.
• Experience working with onsite and offshore teams.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Web service calls, XML, and JSON.
• Experience handling AS400 job-related issues.
• Proficiency with Jira and Kanban.
