Description

Lead AS/400 application development and technical direction for medium-to-large scale projects.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop robust AS/400 applications using RPG, RPGLE, and CL.
• Manage IBMi SQL queries and optimize database performance.
• Lead technical teams through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Perform problem determination and resolution using IBM X-analysis, ALDON, and Hawkeye.
• Drive project completion from research and fact-finding to final deployment.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of deep experience in AS/400 application development.
• 5+ years of hands-on development in RPG, RPGLE, and CL.
• 5+ years of experience with Synon2/E (COOL 2/E).
• 5+ years of recent experience in a leadership role.
• 5+ years of experience with IBMi SQL.
• Proficiency in IBM X-analysis, ALDON, and Hawkeye tools.
• Strong grasp of SDLC and technical troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RxClaim or other PBM Adjudication systems.
• Proven track record of delivering medium to large scope projects.
