Description

You will develop and maintain applications on the iSeries platform, owning the full lifecycle from design to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain programs using RPG, RPG ILE, and SQLRPGLE.
• Develop Control Language (CLP/CLLE) programs for system automation.
• Implement Message Queue (MQ) and MQ Trigger functionality.
• Embed XML tags within RPG applications for data integration.
• Design physical files, logical files, SQL tables, indexes, views, and stored procedures.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of programming experience on the iSeries platform.
• Expertise in RPG and RPG ILE.
• Proficiency in SQLRPGLE.
• Strong knowledge of Control Language (CLP/CLLE).
• Hands-on experience with Message Queue (MQ) and MQ Trigger.
• Deep understanding of database objects including Physical Files, Logical Files, SQL tables, Indexes, Views, and Stored Procedures.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years tenure in previous AS/400 roles.
