Description

You will provide technical support and system analysis for AS400 applications, ensuring business continuity through proactive monitoring and rapid incident resolution.

Responsibilities

• Perform impact analysis, debugging, coding, and testing for change requests.
• Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and manage tickets via ServiceNow.
• Monitor production jobs and resolve failures to ensure system stability.
• Optimize and enhance existing applications to improve performance and functionality.
• Execute data extraction and query preparation using STRSQL and WRKQRY.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of extensive experience with AS400 environments.
• Proficiency in RPG/400 and RPGLE.
• Strong knowledge of CL/400 and CLLE.
• Experience with DB2/400 and OS/400.
• Hands-on experience with STRSQL and WRKQRY.
• Ability to use ServiceNow for incident and problem management.
• Experience conducting requirements meetings with business end users.
• Background in production support and post-implementation testing.
