Description

You will develop and maintain applications on the AS400 platform, ensuring performance and stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using AS400 technologies (RPG400, ILE) to ensure performance.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and use WRKQRY for data manipulation and reporting.
• Manage software releases, deployments, and oversee end-to-end project delivery.
• Participate in migration projects applying appropriate strategies and best practices.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for AS400 systems.

Required Skills

• 5-9 years of experience as an AS400 Developer.
• Strong expertise in RPG400, ILE, and iSeries.
• Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with WRKQRY.
• Experience in software release management and end-to-end delivery.
• Working knowledge of ARCAD or RTC for source code management.
• Familiarity with web services integration.
• Experience exposure to migration projects.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Git for version control.
